What's your Clowe pitch? That's about the bottom end of what I see him getting.

Thoughts on Ian cole out of St. Louis? 2007 first rounder buried by St. Louis depth.

Hockey's future:

Talent Analysis

Cole is a puck moving, two-way defenseman that can play in all situations. He can carry the puck very well up the ice, makes a good outlet pass and isn't afraid to jump up into the offensive play. The solidly built blueliner has the physicality down low, plays big shutdown minutes and on both specialty team units. He has the potential to be a top four defenseman with offensive upside at the NHL level.

Lmao so you are saying like 20% of the FA pool is all going to sign in EDM. You may get 1 or 2 of those guys but not all of them.

Bomb threats happen every day Richard, this story will not get you on CNN.

Can't you just skype or phone interview someone or do you need to take pics of the site to show what it looked like after nothing happened?

Keep your priorities straight man and don't let your day job get in the way.

I wonder if he could be acquired on the cheaper side like a mid round pick?

That's original. Howson was the person who liked Hemsky, and he's gone. Jarmo has been pretty clear that he'd prefer a power forward type.

I'm pretty sure we've already seen these line combos/trade you've suggested about 100 times now since the SCF's.

Stan Bowman himself said that the team will not rush Raanta and he needs to get acclimated with playing in America.

They will send him to Rockford where he will get the experience necessary before he is brought up. He's 24-years-old so he's a pretty young goalie, meaning there is no hurry.

Ray Emery will likely net himself a three-year contract, but it'll [hopefully] be with the Blackhawks.

No, it's time for CBJ fans to get it through their heads that we are giving you Hemsky one way or another, so stop fighting it and get it over with all ready.

Emery will land more then 1.5, other contracts seem fairly reasonable though. Cooke could potentially land more as well, but with his rep I'm not so sure.

If I were to guess, I'd say the oilers probably do add 1 of these guys though. Maybe two. I could definitely see Emery there, an a Gilbert return makes sense. If they go high priced overpaying for Clowe could be an option as well.

I highly doubt it, he just resigned with them at super cheap and while they have a very strong top 6, some of their D are getting Old and injuries could always occur. They also just put Russell on waivers so it looks like he is the one they would like to move.

I would say it would take a solid top prospect, a decent roster player that works for them or a 2nd and a 4th or possibly 3rd.

DOn't know much about him, but from reading the Hf analysis I am not seeing it in the stat line on NHL.com

15 games played and only 6 hits recorded? From a guy supposedly physical?

11 pts in 66 games? Not much to write home about there either.

He is young and has decent size. Might be worth a try, but I would not say anything is "great" about him yet.
